Brief description of services rendered The client will be developing the Virginia (Free State) natural gas (LNG) field.
Our function was to ensure that an alternative power supply is available to commission and operate the product facilities until the 33kV Eskom network becomes available.
Some of the deliverables:
·  To evaluate and approve the design for the integration and  connection of the Diesel/Gas generator plant.   
· Tender and procurement assistance e.g. technical specifications and other RFQ documents relating to the 6.6kV switchgear, various power transformers and 8 MVA generator plant.  
· Review, evaluate and approve designs from suppliers.
· Factory and site acceptance testing support. 
· Installation, commissioning support and quality assurance.

Role Advisor/consultant, electrical and instrumentation design
Brief description of services rendered Manufacture and deliver 2 of 2.3MVA electrical arc furnaces inclusive of the ​ancillary and control equipment required for processing PGM and concentrated slag.  
· Electrical and instrumentation consulting and advisory service. 
· Review furnace transformer design.
· Complete electrical and instrumenta​tion design for all furnace equipment.
· Draughting service (creating electrical and instrumentation drawings/diagrams).
· Compiling and preparing cable schedules (electrical and  instrumentation).
· Prepare load lists and transformer and furnace PVI-curves.
· Compiling and generating I/O and instrument schedules.
· Design and draw GA’s for MCC, PLC, operator’s desk, instrument JB’s and Field Isolator and control panels.
· Generate instrument Loop Diagrams. 
· Sign off electrical design in professional capacity.Project support (scheduling, attending meetings, etc.)
· Assist in compiling Operating and Control Philosophy  document. 
· Participate and provide input at HAZOP meetings.   

* Unfortunately Keech Furnace Technologies failed to raise the project capital required to excecute the manufacturing and implimentation phase and as a result the order was cancelled by the end client.

· Review and sign off designs as person profesionally registered with ECSA.

·  Assessed and estimated labour and material costs for the purpose of calculating selling prices. 
·  Negotiated prices with suppliers. 
·  Reviewed contractual terms and conditions and formulated tenders in accordance with customer requirements. 
·  Interacted with Tiprow’s existing clients and potential new clients with the aim to promote the business interests of Tiprow and to increase sales and business opportunities.
